Born and Raised in Key West, this native Conch (pronounced 'Konk') is a graduate of Mary Immaculate High School and the University of South Florida. Married to former City Commissioner James Mira and mother to Brittany. Past President of the Key West Zonta Club. Awarded Zonta's Govenor's Cup for outstanding performance during term as President. Zonta's Woman of the Year for spearheading the Breast Cancer Walk/Run for Life for free mammograms. Co-chaired the Waldens Book fair to raise funds for the Rape Victim Advocate Program. Spearheaded the production of a domestic violence tape for victims of abuse. Started the Mature Women's Scholarship Program for a one-year term at the local college. Presidential Board Member for Easter Seals. Roberta spear headed healthy meals for the children of Easter Seals and  continues to contribute. Board member for Montessori Children's School
